Lucky teaches students of all ages and abilities to find their own unique rhythm and energy through dance. Lucky can be booked to run classes for kids of all ages, adults who are seeking an introduction to African dance or for dance students who want to take their African dance to the next level.

Lucky teaches beginners and advanced African dance West Africa, Afro-Contemporary dance and Gumboot dancing from South Africa. For all lovers of dance, Lucky delivers intensive and passionate instruction that leaves you energised and ready for more.

Lucky has taught dance at tertiary level at ACPE and at contemporary dance studios - DUTI Studios, Dance Central and Studio 101.

Drum and dance classes and workshops
Lucky’s dance classes and workshops are suitable for kids, young people and adults working in schools, community organizations and groups. Lucky has worked for organisations such as The Song Room and MDSI to run classes for school aged children from migrant and refugee backgrounds.

Lucky is available to teach classes for dance students on a weekly basis or as required and can be booked for a school term or a one-off class. Lucky African Dance offers tuition in several different dance styles for one-off workshops or regular classes, for all ages and levels of experience.

The Lucky African Dance team provides African drumming and dancing workshops combined. Workshops offer the opportunity to delve more intensely into the techniques of African dance. Workshops can be run for a few hours, a half or full day.

Private tuition
Lucky offers private tuition to students who want to improve upon their style and knowledge of African and Afro contemporary dance. Private sessions give you the chance to improve your skills dance movements, to learn specific African dances and or to catch up when you missed a class.
